Bro of the Day: Denver Sports Radio Personality Scott Hastings

By Adam Maher

One game after Steph "I Don't Care Who, What, When, Where, Why or How You Guard Me I'm Going to Make this Jumper in your Face" Curry embarrassed the Nuggets in Games 3 and 4 to put Golden State up 3-1, George Karl's Denver side took things to a new level of ratchetness in Game 5 Tuesday night.

A must win situation for the Western Conference 3 seed, Denver's Kenneth "The Manimal" Faried delivered the final straw foul on "The Kid," and thus began the first inevitable bickering bout of the 2013 NBA Playoffs.

Denver got the win, and right on cue Golden State head coach Marc Jackson got sour, claiming the Nugz, "Tried to send hit men at Steph." Well, in response, Denver sports radio personality and former NBA player ('82 - '94 with the Knicks, Hawks, Heat, Pistons, and Nuggets) Scott Hastings answered back to Mr. Jackson on his KKFN 104.3 The Fan segment, saying the NBA's second in assists all-timer was "Classless," in his post game assessments.

The reality that you're voicing out and still defending your team (on a national scale) more than 20 years after you hung your jersey is some broed-out ish, Scott. A Bro of the Day is my prescription.

Game 6 in Oakland is tonight at 10:30 ET on one of the awesome networks that carries NBA Playoff games. Check out Scott's radio show every day from 12 noon till 3 PM MT on Denver radio 104.3 FM or go stream it online somewhere if you into that kind of thing.

Editor's note: Shout out to Kenneth Faried for earning the 2012-2013 NBA J. Walker Kennedy Citizenship Award the same day he was accused of taking a cheap shot at Steph Curry. That's some high-powered multi-tasking right there.
